CareSign Community Notary Service is dedicated to improving access to notarization services for underserved Minnesota residents. We offer Remote Online Notary (RON), mobile notary services and in-person notary services to ensure you can access notarization regardless of your location or mobility.

A mobile notary is a commissioned notary public who travels to a client’s location to perform notarization services instead of requiring the client to visit an office. This service provides convenience for people who cannot easily travel or who need documents notarized at a specific location.  Mobile notaries must still follow all notary laws and regulations set by the Minnesota Secretary of State.

A remote notary (also called a Remote Online Notary or RON) is a commissioned notary public who performs notarizations online using secure video technology instead of meeting the signer in person.  This allows individuals to have documents notarized from anywhere using a computer, tablet, or smartphone.  Remote notarization in Minnesota is regulated by the Minnesota Secretary of State.

An in-person notary (also called a traditional notary) is a notary public who meets the signer face-to-face to witness the signing of documents and verify their identity. Notaries performing in-person notarizations must follow the laws and regulations established by the Minnesota Secretary of State
